Power Ranch Golf Course has long been celebrated for its pristine conditions and dramatic mountain views. In 2023, ownership partnered with Gary Brawley Golf Design to reimagine every green complex with a modern, strategic approach. The project began with a unified vision shaped alongside Director of Agronomy Matt Rusch, irrigation consultant Marvin Mills, and contractor Jeff Omahan.
The team approached each green with a focus on playability, aesthetics, and long‑term agronomic performance. Detailed planning ensured that shaping, drainage, and irrigation improvements worked seamlessly together. Throughout construction, Gary remained closely involved, guiding decisions that protected both the design intent and the course’s day‑to‑day operations.
The renovated greens opened on schedule and within budget, delivering a refreshed playing experience that honors the course’s original character. Early feedback from golfers highlighted smoother surfaces, more engaging contours, and improved consistency across all 18 holes. The transformation has reinvigorated Power Ranch, elevating its reputation within the greater Phoenix golf landscape.
